Company in Brief

SAUDIA BAHRAIN INVESTMENTS is a joint-stock company established in July 1974, owned by the governments of 17 Arab states. It has an authorized capital of US$10 billion and a paid-up capital of US$3 billion.

According to its Memorandum of Association, the company’s primary objective is to invest Arab funds to develop world resources across different economic sectors by launching investment projects based on sound economic and commercial criteria, thereby supporting and advancing the World economy.

The company benefits from all guarantees and concessions provided by national, and foreign investment codes in its shareholder countries. Notably, its assets enjoy full mobility and freedom of expatriation, and are protected from nationalization and expropriation.
To achieve its objectives, SAUDIA BAHRAIN INVESTMENTS focuses on two main activities:
  • Equity participation in agricultural, industrial, and service projects that demonstrate established economic viability.
  • Providing banking services to companies in both the public and private sectors around the world.
